Floyd, I am an "Intuitive" & have been working professionally for over 30 yrs. I
hope you don't mind but I listened to some of your music and I need to share with
you a message. You have real Talent! But you don't feel that you do. I felt a
sadness about you & a feeling of defeat. That you've never received the emotional
support that you have needed to help motivate/encourage your creativity. I feel that
if you apply more energy into your Music that you will have not one but several
opportunities that will manifest within the next 2 years and one this year! You have
the gift of writing Music and your Music can sell! Floyd I hope you face your
anxieties and take the steps needed so that you can manifest the success I know you
can achieve. It would be sad if you don't allow this to manifest in your life. If
you'd like a more detailed reading you can reach me by email. God Bless.

I have been away from Ennis for over 20 years. I had no idea that you sang. Sounds real good. I graduated from Ennis in 1984. I can't wait to come back 'home' and see you in 'concert'. Your songs have meanings ..:) Keep up the good music.

We really enjoyed the concert at Rockett last night. Your sense of humor mixes so well with your views of real people and the current state of "society."
Looking forward to the next time we get to see you.

I've known Floyd Tolston for nearly 30 years. He was a tough, old-school, assistant principal when I was at Ennis High. He didn't take any crap from kids but he was always fair-minded & would listen to us. I didn't realize how much I admired & respected him until I became a teacher. Now I admire him for his songs. He writes & sings, songs from his heart & soul, that really touch a person, & make you think, if you have the good sense to listen in the first place. My 14 yr. old daughter, Michelle, & I walk around Wal-Mart & will sing or hum a line from WML. We get a big laugh out of it, because it's dead-on true. I try to teach her to use her common sense, as well as, instill a sense of duty, responsibility, patriotism, loyalty, reverence for God, & all the other "politically incorrect" values that the liberals don't want kids learning these days. Thank you, Mr. Tolston, for listening when I was a dumb kid, busting my butt when I was out of line, & the influence of your experience & wisdom, then, & now, through your music.

I have just discovered the greatness that is Floyd Tolston. Townes is dead. We need another song like Poncho and Lefty. You can do it. Better yet, cover some hidden gems from B.W. Stevenson's catalogue. At a minimum, stay true to your Texas roots and stay away from Nashville. You are better with a guitar than you were with a wooden paddle. My memory suggests that you are also a better singer than teacher. I speak from a position of authority on both subjects. Good luck with your singing and songwriting. I think you are off to a great start.

Floyd, I didn't know that crazy guy playing the guitar and singing on all those trips to the Bahamas would end up being the next Jerry Jeff Walker!

Wow, I came across your name when I was googling my last name and I was surprise to see that there is in fact a Tolston that has made it big time. You know that Tolston is not a huge common name and there is a 99% chance that we are related one way another! Thats cool! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK. And I'm going to try to find your music to listen to it.
